Experience
I'm a native German speaker and moved to Ohio with my family in 2015. I speak German with my children and recently started teaching them some spelling and reading, too. I taught students age 15 to 28 in Germany for about eight zears. Also, I have given several courses in adult education, specializing in the fields of OT. At the moment, I am working as a substitute in Wadsworth City Schools. What I enjoy about teaching is the challenge to get people engaged and curious about a topic and getting them to learn while still having fun. Since I graduated for my BA in Social Work in 2014, I had the pleasure of being in a student's shoes again, which gave me new insight and ideas on how to teach my own classes with a wide variety of methods. I like to be creative in preparation of classes and courses as much as I enjoy getting to know people and their individual interests and ways of learning.
